Running for Public Advocate of the City of New York

I bring a unique blend of community leadership and educational experience to my independent candidacy for Public Advocate. As the program director of a non-profit sports-based youth development organization serving children with neurodiversity challenges, and having deep roots in New York City public housing, I understand firsthand the challenges facing everyday New Yorkers. My journey from growing up in NYC public housing to obtaining academic scholarships that enabled my education at Coppin State University, my journey exemplifies the power of opportunity. With 13 years in broadcast communications and partnerships with community theaters, sports and education; I offer authentic leadership that transcends traditional party politics. My priorities include community safety, small business development, affordable housing, addressing income disparities, and expanding educational opportunities for all New Yorkers."
